“The Trenches” Might Actually Be Nuked

Hopefully, you were out with your beloved on Valentine’s Day, far away from any device where you could trade—because Argentina launched a Solana memecoin that ended in disaster for almost everyone who participated.

The story is still developing, but what we do know is that President Milei has publicly denounced the token.

However, what’s really emerging from this mess is a long-suspected but rarely discussed properly narrative: influencers, streamers, and crypto “personalities” have inside information on big launches—and have for some time.

The only difference on this occasion? They were the ones who got dumped on too.

We’ll have a full feature on this next week, once the dust settles. Some spicy, gossipy stuff to look forward to.

Landy said it best. Nothing more to add.

On a much more positive note, the 6th XO Weekly Space took place yesterday, and let me tell you—the hosts of that show would never rug or mislead you. We are men of God, and we want you to win with us. Blessed be.

We had the pleasure of being joined by special guest, YoloTradeZone, speaking about his memecoin—a pure, intent-driven initiative created by one of the most kind-hearted and talented people in the space.

We also had market analysis, with the guiding hand of Landy steering us through choppy waters, plus a news recap covering topics like CZ’s dog and the OpenSea airdrop.

We were also joined by Flower83 from Neo Tokyo News—a little cross-pollination of brands, if you will.

And now, here’s a quick round up of the weeks headlines:

Binance’s listing of $TST, a token with little history, has reignited concerns over its opaque selection process. Many believe Binance favors projects on its own BNB Chain, while stronger tokens struggle for a spot. Traders now see Binance listings as exit liquidity rather than growth catalysts.

Visionary artist Rutherford Chang, known for his "CENTS" project, has passed away at 45. He transformed 10,000 copper pennies into a digital artifact, bridging numismatics with blockchain. His work challenged perceptions of value, ownership, and permanence in art and crypto.

A wallet bug on DotSwap caused an Ordinal to be mistakenly spent as a miner fee. The issue stems from how different platforms handle off-chain listings, exposing risks in DeFi transactions. Users are advised to separate wallets for trading, minting, and long-term holdings.

Magic Eden will airdrop 16 million $ME tokens on February 14th to users who staked before February 1st. No manual claim is needed, but scammers may exploit the hype—only trust official sources. Future $ME rewards will favor staking, trading, and ecosystem engagement.

OpenSea is launching $SEA to reward historical and recent users, with U.S. traders included. OS2 will integrate NFTs and tokens across 14 blockchains, but Bitcoin Ordinals remain unsupported. CEO Devin Finzer promises a return to crypto-native roots—will it be enough?

Catch up with Landy in yesterday’s Friday Wrap-Up:

Ordinals

Yesterday saw $ME stakers receive an airdrop of unclaimed tokens, but did that liquidity flow back into Ordinals? Not really. Volume remains flat, showing no significant uptick in activity.

NodeMonkes are up 11% on the day, but still barely holding above 0.06 BTC. NatCats are showing signs of life again but haven't cracked back above 0.01 BTC yet.

Elsewhere, there’s not much to say. We’re still waiting on a catalyst—could it be the OMB mint in 10 days?

Runes (Bitcoin Memecoins)

The standout story today is $MIM, which has collapsed 79% following news that it was a fake token issued by Nomad The Savior. Is this all part of the lore—just another elaborate twist? Sources say no, but at this point, even the most engaged participants are struggling to keep up with the daily chaos.

The best course of action? Unless you have the time to follow this saga closely, it’s best to just let it play out and not get too emotionally involved in it.

Elsewhere, $BILLY and $RSIC posted solid gains on the day, but much like Ordinals, prices remain historically low.

What’s the next big catalyst for Runes?

  • Hyperliquid x Xverse could be a major unlock.

  • And of course… the $MIM migration.

If they actually follow through, we could finally see the mind games come to an end.
