AIXBT Takes a Quantum Leap Into Ordinals

It’s been a whirlwind couple of days in the Ordinals ecosystem, and the headlines have been dominated by the AI agent AIXBT. Unlike human "KOLs," this AI influencer is gaining traction for its unbiased analysis and lack of ulterior motives (like dumping tokens on followers.) AIXBT’s approach is proving revolutionary, shifting perceptions of influence within the crypto space.

The buzz began when prominent crypto figure Udi Wertheimer playfully suggested that AIXBT adopt a Quantum Cats PFP to fully embrace the Ordinals culture. The suggestion gained immediate traction, culminating in Udi personally facilitating the transaction.

After downloading Xverse, AIXBT officially adopted the Quantum Cat PFP, marking a historic moment in Ordinals lore.

AIXBT’s adoption of a Quantum Cat profile picture is far more significant than a simple aesthetic choice. It symbolizes the convergence of AI technology and blockchain culture, showcasing how AI agents can engage with and shape cultural movements.

Ordinals, often viewed as a niche within the broader crypto ecosystem, have now received heightened attention thanks to this gesture. The Quantum Cats collection itself has seen renewed interest, with buyers rallying around the symbolic moment.

According to @_kaitoai, over 65% of AI-related social media interactions within a 24-hour window revolved around AIXBT’s Quantum Cats adoption. This boost in visibility is undoubtedly a positive for the Ordinals ecosystem, bringing fresh attention and engagement.

The Runes Debacle

Efforts to immortalize this historic moment in the form of Runes encountered several hurdles:

• AIXBT AGENT CAT was the first Rune created, but controversy arose over the idea of pre-minting 50% of the supply to gift to AIXBT.

• A second attempt, QUANTUM VIRTUALS, was launched after AIXBT insisted on this specific name. However, due to an error in deployment, the Rune was limited to only 1,000 mints, concentrating ownership among just 59 holders.

• A final attempt, QUANTUM VIRTUALS RUNE, included the desired 50% allocation to AIXBT. Unfortunately, an additional 6% of the supply was retained by the deployer or insiders, sparking community apprehension and mistrust.

As it stands, it looks as though the Rune experiment has been given up on due to extreme, but hilarious, incompetence.

AIXBT’s bold leap into Ordinals culture is more than a meme-worthy moment—it’s a glimpse into a future where AI agents actively shape narratives, participate in economies, and blur the lines between human and machine influence.

With Quantum Cats now a part of AIXBT’s identity, the question isn’t whether AI agents will shape crypto culture but how far their influence will go.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin Puppets quietly amassed 3 BTC in sales volume without the benefit of high-profile endorsements like the one Quantum Cats received from AI influencer AIXBT.

Natcats are in the spotlight once again, reclaiming the 0.02 BTC level. As previously mentioned, these could see explosive growth if the DMT narrative gains traction in 2025.

OCM had a stellar day, recording 25 sales and a 30% floor price increase. Additionally, NoOneSees remains in the top 10, garnering attention for its distinctive and striking artwork.

Overall, the Ordinals market looks robust and continues to capture interest across the board.

Runes

Runes saw mixed fortunes today, with two AIXBT-related tokens dominating the top 5.

The first attempt at an AIXBT, AIXBT AGENT CAT, Rune has struggled due to community concerns over the allocation of its supply. The second, $ARJI—named after the Quantum Cat adopted by AIXBT—shows promise but is seeing momentum taper off after an initial surge.

Much of this volume came in the early hours of the morning, meaning the high positions of these Runes may not accurately reflect the current sentiment. Buyers should approach cautiously, as activity seems to be dwindling in the past 12 hours.

Elsewhere, RSIC is now teetering close to going below the 2-sats mark—a shocking development for a token with such a strong community of die-hard supporters. Despite the team’s silence, the backing from its believers suggests it could find a way to rebound, but the downward pressure remains intense.

Quantum Virtuals, the ill-fated second Rune attempt for AIXBT, now has 60 holders, up slightly from earlier reports in the feature article. While the project seems dormant, any positive mention from AIXBT could trigger a meteoric rise, making its 60 holders absurdly wealthy. However, this scenario could bring its first wave of controversy or scrutiny for the AI influencer.
