Daily Alpha | Kamala Harris Breaks Crypto Silence

After months of silence on cryptocurrency, U.S. Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has finally addressed the heated topic.

“We will partner together to invest in America’s competitiveness, to invest in America’s future. We will encourage innovative technologies like AI and digital assets while protecting our consumers and investors,” Harris said at a fundraiser in Manhattan.

Her statement remains vague and could lead to any outcome on the regulatory spectrum—ranging from a supportive and clear regulatory framework to encourage innovation, to a focus on CBDCs and further crackdowns, led by Gary Gensler, under the guise of consumer and investor protection.

Voters will need more direct answers before making an informed decision as election day approaches.

In the meantime, we can take a more active role by supporting local crypto initiatives, offering prayers to our respective gods, and standing behind champions of the space, like Senator Cynthia Lummis, who is featured in the video below:

Leaving behind yesterdays mixed bag of green and red numbers, today also sports a lush green volume filled jungle of Rune gains. As predicted yesterday, Billion Dollar Cat still doesn’t show any signs of significantly slowing down.
