Another week, another Saturday… always right on time! As usual during the weekend, there’s little news, low volume, and time to focus on the finer things in life. In the meantime, though, builders will keep building! Here are some exciting updates from the companies and protocols that make the industry great.

An interesting data set from MrTax was shared last week, showing the top runes ranked by sats spent minting. After Memento Mori’s recent monster mint, I was curious to see where it landed in this ranking. Unsurprisingly, it ended up in the upper echelons, closing out the Top 5. Another notable fact is that it’s only 1.5x from its mint price. Of course, this is an average mint price and doesn’t account for individual gains from low fees or losses due to front-running, so avoid using it for personal calculations.

Another intriguing, though slightly concerning, analysis was shared by FarmerJoe today. It examines the “dry powder” left in the BTC ecosystem, offering insight into the slowing growth in volume and prices across the ecosystem. This analysis is definitely worth a read.

Ordinals

Another mixed bag today—some up, some down—but at least we see some excitement with two clear winners! The biggest one today is the Ordinal Penguins, up 112%, although this is achieved by just one sale in the OG sub-5k collection.

The other winner is the same as yesterday’s: Insurgence by Debauchery! Up another 44% after yesterdays 71%. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a recently minted project come back like this, winning two days in a row. It sparks a little hope in these bleak, volume-deprived markets.

Puppets once again claim the top spot by volume and are increasing their lead over Nodemonkes in the race for Ordinal market cap supremacy.

All other projects show marginal gains and losses and, once again, diminishing volume. The market clearly needs a little spark. If nothing special happens over the weekend, that spark will probably come in the form of a U.S. election result.

Things are probably about to get spicy in either direction on Tuesday, November 5th.

Runes

Again, Runes seem to perform a little better than collections today, with slightly higher volume and slightly more favorable price movements on average.

MEMENTO•MORI takes today’s top spot by volume, although this sadly doesn’t reflect positive price movement yet, down 8.73% on the day.

In second place, we find Dog in a similar predicament—good volume but a dropping price. This might be a result of the lack of new “dry powder” entering the ecosystem.

$PUPS, like their Ordinal collection, is the highest by volume that is also in the green, closing the Runes top three with a nice 20% price gain today. Don’t forget to migrate this weekend!

Numbers four and five are of the feline variety: BDC and Gizmo, both increasing in price today by 7% and 3%, respectively.

The bottom half sees RSIC as the only loser, dropping 7% in value.

On the other hand, Bitcoin Bro Bear and Cypher Genesis both show a strong revival, with green numbers well in the 70% range!
