Tap Protocol TDE Delayed, but the updates keep coming.

Even though no one likes a delay, you have to give it to TAP. They have been building relentlessly, pushing updates and announcements at a rate rarely seen in this industry. Whether you love them or hate them, the team at TAP seems to be working nonstop. Here are some of the features and characteristics we’re most excited about:

Their roadmap is packed with exciting developments, from their recently released wallet (which is still in beta and could use a little user experience upgrade on for its installation process) to Pipe AI.

The feature that excites us most about TAP is their focus on programmability since day one. This aligns with our own mission, exemplified by BRC-555 and The Unchained, the first fully programmable Ordinal Collection.

One of the most recent announcements is the launch of the first-ever Layer 1 (L1) Bitcoin decentralised exchange (DEX) on Tap Protocol next week.

Key features include:

• Peer-to-peer swaps for Tap tokens

• True liquidity pools with $TAP token integration

• Liquidity providers earn a percentage of pool fees

• No intermediaries or middlemen involved

• No Layer 2 infrastructure needed

• No wrapping or bridging of assets

Strong backing and solid network relationships are key to opening doors in any industry. With $TAP investors, they won’t have trouble attracting attention during the upcoming bull run.

TAP is also bridging the gap between the two largest market cap chains in the industry. This could help ease hesitant crypto users into the Bitcoin ecosystem. It’s easy to forget in our niche, but many in the broader crypto community haven’t given the Bitcoin ecosystem a serious look yet.

Last but not least, their developer-focused ecosystem roll-out gives us confidence. They understand that to build a good ecosystem, you need products designed by developers for users. Provide the tools, and developers will create the products people need!

With the weekend behind us, volume is starting at the higher end of its current averages as the entire crypto market has shown strength over the weekend, with BTC briefly touching the coveted $69k mark. Based Angels continue their impressive run, up another 30% today.

Gizmo the Cat is also making a solid move, continuing its upward grind after some massive fluctuations over the weekend.

A stunning new contender in the top 10 is Abstract Being by Memphis! This remarkable art collection minted over the weekend and is showing a strong post-mint surge. It’s always exciting to see more “traditional” art breaking into the top 10.

Besides these highlights, the top 10 shows a healthy mix of red and green, with both Ordzaar Pass and Bitcoin Wizard also performing well today.

Runes

Rune volume is less concentrated at the top today, with the top 3 runes relatively close in activity compared to more concentrated days. Dog enjoys a rare yet familiar day at the top, reminiscent of its nearly-guaranteed dominance during the Rune winter.

Once again, Based Angels reign supreme in terms of price action. However, a new contender, KIKA•THE•BUNNY•PLUSH, is close behind with an impressive 95% surge and more than double the volume of the Angels.

Gizmo has continued to show strength, moving up even further, totaling a remarkable 53x increase since its launch just 8 days ago.

The battle for top-cat status may be the reason why Billy has been somewhat stagnant since Gizmo hit the scene, down 8% today. Meanwhile, Pups also stayed strong over the weekend, alongside their feline friend Gizmo, with an 11% gain today.

I don’t know what it is, but something tells me we have an explosive week ahead!
