XO Weekly #15 came in hot yesterday, fresh off a new wave of optimism in the markets, with Bitcoin hovering around the $95K mark at the time of going to air and bullposting from even the most miserable of bears all over the timeline!

We wasted no time getting straight to the market analysis with Landy, who dissected the current situation on the charts and in the wider macro scope. Yesterday’s title of the Space was “Buy in May and Go Away?” as a twist on the usual "sell in May" saying that has been the correct strategy many times over the years.

In response to Phoenixx asking if this should be the play, Landy emphatically suggested that while there is plenty to be cautious about — and that is really how things should be approached for the time being due to a number of events coming up — going away would be a mistake.

BTCFi looks like it is primed to explode any time now, certainly into the summer. And as Null said during his segment, we have broken the downtrend on the weekly timeframe for Bitcoin, so both of our trading experts sounded very buoyant about where we are headed!

We also had our glorious XO alpha caller extraordinaire, WhiteCoco4U, give us an update on OdinFun where we discussed the potential of what’s coming soon there, and also in general the expected potential of the wider Runes ecosystem in relation to their ATHs.

A Bitcoin Shroom was purchased earlier today for just over half a Bitcoin, that is $48K, and you are bearish?!

Runestone comes in 2nd place today with 216 sales. Why? There is still no news on the coming second and third airdrops for holders, but it is generally correlated to how $DOG is doing, and, well, we will get to that in a moment.

Airheads bounce back after dropping down close to 0.007 BTC for a short while, with the Alkanes hype still very much alive and well, although slightly subsided from the peak of midweek.

And what is that in 10th? Twelvefold?! As we always say when it appears sporadically… "what does the buyer know?!" The eternal question that has been asked for many a moon now. Still no answers.

OG Runes

Ok, as promised, more on $DOG now, and it is up a whopping 34% on the day! The long-time leader of Runes has now extended its lead over its closest rival, $MIM, to a 5.5x.

This gap was as close as about a 2x not long ago. Is $MIM next to run? I think so. Let’s see what Monday’s issue shows.

$BILLY has also had a barnstormer of a day, up 21%, and interestingly that looks like it is closing the gap on $PUPS. Will we see a flippening there?

In the bottom half, we have $CYPHER, a constant good performer in the low caps, up 32% today.

$GIZMO is trying hard to break past the $5m market cap mark, only a matter of time there surely.

OdinFun, FunkyBit, and Alkanes

I cannot look at that $BITCAT any longer. Please will the dev just nuke it already.

Said dev has now spread his holdings out across other wallets it seems, and is now only holding 15.49% officially, but who knows how much of the 50% is still with him.

OdinDog is holding above $5m and will likely move up quickly again once Bob Bodily releases the next update. GoldBTC is the newest addition to the charts up in 4th.

Funky Monkey is by far the winner of the volume wars between the top 2 today, doing over 5x the amount Grandmaster Funk did.

And with that, it closes the gap on the market cap also, with only about $45K separating the two.

Everywhere I look, I see his face. That BITCAT. 

Yes, it has found its way over to Alkanes too now. It is in 4th, up 174% today. Will we see a similar story play out like on OdinFun where a dev pumps it to the top? Considering the leader, $DIESEL, is at $21m market cap, that would be nothing short of lunacy.

News is still being awaited on how these tokens tie into the XP being generated by Airhead and Whale Pass holders.
