Ordzaar’s Fairdrop Campaign is Gaining Steam!

One of the most prominent entities in the space has recently ignited their airdrop campaign, and it has been gathering massive attention ever since.

Ordzaar has been supporting projects in their development and launch processes and has been a prominent Ordinals evangelist, pushing the space forward. For instance by sponsoring the main Ordinals event and many side events during Token2049 in Singapore.

Their recent marketing and airdrop fairdrop campaign have been gaining momentum and are becoming a hot topic among the community.

Some of their earlier incentives are about to expire, so we wanted to bring this opportunity to your attention before it’s too late.

However, the most interesting part about this is the attached article in the quoted tweet. “Bitcoin PIPEs: Covenants and ZKPs on Bitcoin Without Soft Fork” by Mikhail Komarov proposes a solution to enable zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) verification on Bitcoin’s Layer 1, overcoming limitations in Bitcoin Script and the absence of covenants like OP_CAT and OP_MUL.

Key Points

1. Bitcoin Script Limitations: Bitcoin’s Script lacks covenants and functions needed for ZKP verification, making it impractical to verify advanced cryptographic proofs on-chain.
2. Bitcoin PIPEs: This approach emulates absent covenants by using a PIPE-based system to verify Placeholder proof system SNARKs, allowing ZKP verification without upgrading Bitcoin’s protocol.
3. Placeholder Proof System: The paper uses this proof system, which is based on polynomial commitments, as an example for enabling ZKP verification on Bitcoin.
4. Functional Encryption: The paper details Function-Hiding Multi-Input Predicate Encryption (FH-MIPE), which secures sensitive data while verifying conditions necessary for Bitcoin transactions.
5. Covenants without Soft Fork: By leveraging PIPEs, covenants can be introduced on Bitcoin without the need for a soft fork, allowing for more complex applications like zkRollups on Bitcoin.

Importance

This would significantly enhance Bitcoin’s programmability by enabling advanced cryptographic applications like zkRollups and trustless smart contracts, directly on Bitcoin’s Layer 1. It achieves this without the need for a protocol upgrade, which typically requires lengthy community consensus. By using Bitcoin PIPEs to emulate covenants, the solution provides a feasible, immediate path to incorporating these advanced features. Furthermore, zero-knowledge proof verification enhances privacy and security for Bitcoin transactions, making it possible to prove the validity of complex statements without revealing the underlying data. This approach opens up new possibilities for Bitcoin applications, improving both scalability and user privacy while maintaining the security and decentralization inherent to Bitcoin.

After a beautiful green day in the markets yesterday, today shows some expected pullback as we start the week with the Monday blues.

Except for the charming Bitcoin Frogs, which show small but solid resistance against the reds, almost like we’re back in the Cold War. If this were the Cold War, the Ordzaar pass, mentioned in our top story, seems to be testing its new rockets today to reach the moon first with a massive 39% price gain.

All other collections are showing significant bleeding today, although volume remains relatively “okay.” The Puppets are once again topping the volume charts, even though it’s not doing them much good, as they suffer the highest price loss in the top ten today.

Runes

Similar to the Ordinal collections, many Runes are also showing a retracement today. $DOG once again sits in the #3 spot, as other coins with more room to grow take its place in the top volume positions. $DOG has held up significantly better than almost most other Runes, so holders should not fear.

Even more so, this shift highlights growing investor confidence, as evidenced by their willingness to take on greater risks with non-blue-chip Runes. This optimism, reflected in the increasing overall volume, bodes well for the entire BTC ecosystem.

The #1 Rune to discuss, of course, is RUNES•REFRIGERATOR, which we mentioned in the Daily Bites. Deployed by BTC dev legend Raph, it reminds us all once again that in this space… You snooze, you lose!

RSIC has been quietly moving up the ranks with small incremental price increases, showing similar monthly growth to $DOG over the long term. Today, it takes a more prominent role, claiming the #2 spot by volume.

Lastly, the defiant Based Panda is not giving in to the sea of red, keeping its fluffy head cool with a 4.7% increase, while its fellow animal friends fall back.
