SuperEx Set To Bet Big on Memes?

SuperEx just dropped a major announcement, and it’s one worth watching! The crypto exchnage has revealed its latest project: SuperFun, a self-described “multi-chain aggregated meme launchpad,” similar to pump.fun and odin.fun, but this time, supporting tokens across all chains.

The initial announcement, shared via X, was brief but quickly stirred excitement. Alongside a screenshot of a trading interface featuring coins like ODINDOG and $TRUMP, SuperEx hinted at a streamlined hub for meme coin creation and trading.

About 15 minutes later, the post was deleted and replaced with something more substantial, offering an exclusive look at what they’ve been working on.

Featuring heavily in the screenshots is SuperEx’s own OdinFun-launched Rune, which has since surged to a $500K market cap, up 311% in just an hour after the post was sent, but has fallen steeply since.

What Is SuperFun?

Details are still sparse, but based on what we know so far, SuperFun looks to be a cross-chain platform where anyone can create, launch, and trade meme coins—without being locked into a single blockchain.

Multichain architecture is quickly becoming one of the biggest trends, as evidenced by Magic Eden’s recent efforts. Traders are looking for more flexibility and faster movement across networks, and if SuperEx successfully integrates a community-driven launchpad, it could catch on quickly, especially given its existing reach.

The timing looks good, with platforms like PumpFun and other meme launchpads gaining popularity by making meme coin creation stupidly simple. Now, with SuperEx entering the space with their infrastructure, reach, and an established user base to back it up, this looks interesting.

However, while it’s clear SuperFun is well underway in terms of being built, there’s no telling exactly when the final product will launch. But the question is, will this end up competing with OdinFun, the very platform that birthed SuperEx’s Rune token?

It is strikingly similar in its nature when removing the multi-chain feature. Or perhaps, OdinFun and SuperEx have been working together? Seems rather plausible given the connection. Interesting developments ahead either way.

Quantum Cats and OMB are top today with a combined volume of almost 6 BTC, which is pretty decent considering recent figures. Around half of that volume for OMB, however, came from a Blue Eyes sale at 1.18 BTC — the seller being $DOG founder Leonidas.

The buyer also recently picked up a Red Eyes OMB for 0.825 BTC. This follows a trend we’re seeing in other collections too, where grail hunters are overlooking the floor and paying way above the average price to collect the pieces they want. Always a bullish sign.

Runes (Bitcoin Memecoins)

How are our Runes doing? Comme ci, comme ça, as the French say.

$RSIC has just about pushed past the 1 sats mark, and there’s more and more chatter about the upcoming 888,888 block. According to Charlie Spears, it’s looking set to land either Friday night or Saturday morning.

The return of $BIP to the top 10 is a welcome sight. This is a community that never stopped posting throughout every single one of the mini bear markets over the past year. It’s still about a 30x off its ATH, so there could be some value there if you’re feeling like a flutter.

$LIQ has been popping up often lately, and rightly so. There’s been a few posts being seen recently about how a $16 million market cap for a Rune backed by the OG utility team for assets on Bitcoin is “absurd.”

It was probably only a matter of time before $BITCAT cooled off after its mad run, but this pullback wasn’t exactly what we had in mind.

It’s down 49% since yesterday, and OdinCat is now back in range to reclaim its position at number two. Let’s see what happens next in the battle for cat supremacy on OdinFun.
