OdinFun’s Ascent: Are You Paying Attention?

If you’ve been following OdinFun, you already know it’s been injecting fresh energy into the Bitcoin Runes ecosystem. But over the past few days, things have gone into overdrive—more volume, more users, and more action. If you’re not paying attention, you’re missing out.

Massive Growth and Key Milestones

OdinFun has been on fire, smashing through the 1,000 BTC volume milestone on March 3rd. In the last 24 hours alone, we’ve seen:

These numbers are making it clear—OdinFun isn’t just another experimental Runes platform. It’s becoming the core hub for Bitcoin Runes trading.

Bridging the East/West Divide

One of the biggest narratives forming around OdinFun is how it’s bringing together the communities of Runes (the West) and BRC-20s (the East).

Until now, there’s been a clear divide—Asia largely stuck with BRC-20s, shunning the new Runes standard, reportedly in part due to a dislike of the long ticker names. However, Runes have a simpler UX, which has naturally drawn Western users instead.

Both standards have their pros and cons, but OdinFun might be the catalyst that unites both sides. With seamless Xverse integration and a rapidly growing, non-region-specific community, OdinFun is looking like the peacemaker to end the split.

It also appears to be much harder to get hard-rugged on OdinFun than it is on PumpFun (I mean, that’s not a hard challenge, but still…) and here’s some tips to keep you safe:

The Idiots mint kicked off last night and is now in the Public phase, with just under four hours left to grab one. So far, 5,368 out of the 10,000 collection have been minted, meaning progress sits at 53%.

The Idiots team has put out a poll asking the community whether the remaining supply should be capped or time-limited. Whatever is left unminted will be redistributed to Idiot holders, as confirmed by the team.

Elsewhere, OMB’s volume is still looking strong, and after yesterday’s pullback, the floor price is back up, now just under 0.04 BTC. Bitcoin Frogs and Bitmap are also making solid gains, but most other collections remain static.

Nothing too exciting, but maybe that’s a good thing after the relentless ups and downs of late.

Runes (Bitcoin Memecoins)

The OG Runes market still isn’t seeing much action, aside from $DOG, which barely pushed past 1 BTC in volume over the past 24 hours on Magic Eden.

Does this signal the old guard fading in the wake of OdinRunes? Probably not, but it’s clear that Magic Eden’s UX has been getting more criticism lately, especially now that OdinRunes has shown how much smoother Bitcoin asset trading can be.

Many traders are now calling for Magic Eden to step up and revamp its outdated system. Let’s hope they deliver.

Over on OdinFun, pullbacks are happening across the board as traders chase new runners—a natural consequence of OdinFun’s fast-moving ecosystem, where new tokens launch constantly, and sentiment flips in an instant.

That said, OdinDog is still impressively holding above a $20M market cap. Meanwhile, OdinCat has pulled ahead of $SPARKS—but for how long? Can it extend its lead?

In major news, SuperEx, a CEX, has launched its own token on OdinFun. While the token currently lacks a solid direction or utility, this is huge for the OdinFun platform.

SuperEx has stated that they’re actively exploring ways to support its development and are confident about its potential. This just goes to show the kind of attention and pull OdinFun is getting right now.
