Is This Bitcoin’s Pump.Fun Moment?

Ordinals

New lows are being found for two Blue Chip Ordinals collections, Bitcoin Puppets and NodeMonkes. Is this a rotation out of them and into Odin Fun?

Quantum Cats is still holding at around a quarter of a Bitcoin, but even they have seen a decline—so maybe. And if true, will the gamble pay off?

Personally, selling Blue Chips for fresh launches isn’t the best play, but maybe opportunity cost is a factor. Ordinals have been pretty static for a while, and short-term gains can be found elsewhere, at the very least.

The bottom half of the top 10 shows a few big winners for the day—Peter Schiff’s Golden Triumph and INK, the latter making a comeback after an absence from the rankings for a while.

An announcement yesterday teased something coming on February 5, which has driven the surge in volume. The heat INK has received feels overblown—the mint price was relatively cheap, certainly for the hype it had, yet commentators fixate on how much the project made while conveniently omitting similar cases where projects charged more but delivered far less.

Whether you find founder Brunno too spicy or outspoken, he’s still here and dropping something new—more than can be said for dozens of others that have come and gone. Good luck to them.

Oooaaahhhh—we are SO BACK!!

Runes have benefited massively from Beautiful Bob Bodily’s Odin Fun launch, as people have flocked to buy the established OGs. The top 5 is predictable and a solid indicator of which will run hardest if the bullish momentum continues with imminent listings and fresh integrations.

That said, sitting in 6th is CYPHER, which deserves a top 5 spot any day of the week. Bootoshi has hinted at some major updates coming soon, so keep an eye out—it could easily climb into the top 5 over the weekend based on that alone.

Volume is still leaving a bit to be desired in the bottom half, but again, that all looks set to change. Strap in.
